Wayne Prejean Named President and CEO
Directional Rentals is pleased to announce that Wayne Prejean has been appointed by the Board of Directors as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Wayne began his career in 1979 in offshore production operations. In the early 1980's, Wayne worked for Scientific Drilling International in field operations providing directional drilling services. From 1986 through 1999, he was employed by firms that developed medium radius horizontal drilling technology utilized in today's unconventional shale basins throughout the U.S. In 1999, Wayne founded Wildcat Services, a provider of specialty automatic drilling equipment for drilling rigs. The company grew from a 40-rig supplier to over 500 systems deployed worldwide in 5 years. The company was sold to National Oilwell Varco in 2004 and Wayne continued as a strategic advisor until 2012.
